1. About StopSnoring

StopSnoring is a sleep-related sound tracking application designed to detect sounds that may resemble snoring and, when enabled, play sound alerts intended to interrupt detected snoring.

The app is intended as a personal tracking and awareness tool. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

2. No medical advice

StopSnoring does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Detection results are estimates generated from audio patterns and may be inaccurate. Environmental sounds, movement, other people, pets, appliances, or other noises may affect detection.

If you have concerns about snoring, breathing interruptions, sleep quality, or any other health issue, consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the app under the laws that apply to you. If you are under the age required to independently consent to these Terms or to the processing of information in your jurisdiction, you should use the app only with appropriate parental or guardian involvement.

4. Using the app

You agree to use StopSnoring only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the operation or security of the app.

You are responsible for ensuring that the app is used in an appropriate environment and that you have permission to monitor sounds where other people may be present.

Do not use StopSnoring as a substitute for professional medical monitoring or emergency services.

5. Microphone use

Snore detection requires microphone access. You are responsible for granting or denying this permission through your device.

If microphone permission is denied or restricted, some or all monitoring functionality may not work.

6. Alerts and notifications

StopSnoring may provide sound alerts or notifications based on detected sounds and your selected settings.

We do not guarantee that every snoring event will be detected or that every alert will be delivered. Device settings, operating system restrictions, battery optimization, volume settings, permissions, interruptions, and other technical conditions may affect alerts.

7. Advertising and third-party services

The app may contain advertisements or use third-party services such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting, hosting, or other technology providers.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of those services may be subject to those additional terms.

8. Intellectual property

StopSnoring and its software, design, branding, graphics, text, logos, and other content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by law or by us, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the application or its content.

9. Availability and updates

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the app at any time. We may also release updates that change features, functionality, compatibility, or requirements.

We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system.

10. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StopSnoring is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the app will accurately detect snoring, prevent snoring, improve sleep, or produce any particular result.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StopSnoring and its operators, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the app, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using StopSnoring at any time by uninstalling the app.

We may suspend or terminate access to the app where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, our rights, or where you materially violate these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of StopSnoring after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Governing law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which the operator of StopSnoring is established, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
